This role involves writing code for a new platform that automates security evaluations for code changes at Amazon scale. The team aims to eliminate bottlenecks in the security review process by developing features that assess security risks and route necessary reviews efficiently. You will work closely with senior engineers and security experts to create a system that enhances the speed and accuracy of security assessments. • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for new and existing systems
• 1+ years of experience as a software development engineer or in a related role
• 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience

• Design, build, test, deploy, and operate features of the platform that evaluates code changes for security risk.
• Own features across their full lifecycle, from customer needs assessment to production operation.
• Write code that meets high standards for correctness, testing, security, and operability.
• Build and tune automated evaluation logic in collaboration with security engineers.
• Partner with senior engineers on design and clarify incomplete requirements.
• Participate actively in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Engage in operational support and on-call duties to resolve issues permanently.
• Document software functionality, operation, and integration within the larger system.
