Job description
This entry-level position focuses on assisting with the development and design of control systems, equipment, and machinery. The role is part of the Controls Engineering team and involves working closely with more experienced engineers. The main responsibilities include troubleshooting, software alterations, and supporting bench tests. The position requires on-site work with a third-shift schedule to support the assembly line.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering Technology is preferred.
- Basic level of relevant experience in controls and automation fundamentals.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the development and design of control systems.
- Support and debug basic problems and change requests.
- Prepare cost estimates and compile required cost and equipment information.
- Investigate project problems and develop plans for solutions.
- May be responsible for the installation and technical support of PLC-based hardware and software.
