Job description

Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 3-7+ years of experience designing complex embedded hardware systems.
  • Strong expertise in high-speed digital circuit design and layout.
  • Experience with multi-layer PCB design and stack-up planning.
  • Knowledge of signal integrity and power integrity fundamentals.
  • Experience in RF integration and antenna considerations.
  • Familiarity with EMI/EMC mitigation techniques.
  • Experience taking hardware products from concept to production.
  • Strong debugging and lab bring-up experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop electrical systems for a complex mobile robotic platform from concept through production.
  • Lead high-speed digital design efforts including PCIe, MIPI, Ethernet, and DDR.
  • Own PCBA development including schematic capture and layout guidance.
  • Drive RF integration and ensure signal integrity.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineering on board packaging and thermal management.
  • Define and implement power distribution architecture and battery interfaces.
  • Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC and regulatory requirements.
  • Support prototype builds and debug hardware/firmware interface issues.
  • Establish design standards and perform detailed design reviews.
