The role is focused on bringing PCB layout in-house within DoorDash Labs' Hardware team, which is dedicated to developing autonomous delivery systems. The successful candidate will work closely with mechanical, thermal, and SI/PI engineering to ensure the manufacturability and quality of the boards. Reporting to the Director of Electrical Engineering, this position offers a hybrid or fully onsite work environment. The team is looking for experienced electrical engineers to enhance their operations and product quality.

• Strong PCB layout experience across digital and mixed-signal boards.
• Familiarity with stackup technologies and their limitations.
• Knowledge of controlled-impedance and high-speed routing.
• Proficiency in a professional layout tool such as Altium or Cadence.
• Comfortable coordinating with mechanical, thermal, and SI/PI engineering.

• Perform floorplan analysis and create stackups, layouts, and footprints.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineering to ensure fit and form compatibility.
• Work with thermal engineering to ensure a thermally sound layout.
• Coordinate with SI/PI engineering to ensure the board design is complete and robust.
• Drive toward consistently high-quality layout.
