The role is focused on mixed-signal and analog design within DoorDash Labs' Hardware team, which is responsible for developing autonomous delivery systems. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Electrical Engineering and will play a crucial role in enhancing the team's capabilities in precision analog design. This position may require being fully onsite when necessary, as the team works on critical hardware components. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design of various circuits and ensure high standards in analog performance.

• Strong mixed-signal and precision-analog design background is required.
• Experience in instrumentation, telemetry, current-source, and power-amplifier design is necessary.
• Proficiency in ADC/DAC and signal-conditioning design is expected.
• Familiarity with sensor front-ends for temperature, light, and audio, as well as LED drivers, is essential.
• Experience in EMC/EMI-aware design and mitigation is required.

• Design instrumentation and telemetry-measurement circuits, precision current sources, and high-quality amplifiers.
• Create circuits around ADCs, DACs, and signal conditioning.
• Develop sensor interfaces for temperature, light, audio, and LED drivers.
• Own power sequencing and ensure EMC-aware analog design.
• Contribute analog rigor to design reviews and help establish analog and EMC design practices.
