JobsSilicon Design Engineer
Job description
AMD is seeking a Silicon Design Engineer to contribute to the research, design, development, and testing of electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing. The role focuses on ASIC development, requiring knowledge of electronic theory and design techniques. The engineer will work on architecture design, logic design, and system simulation, while also evaluating process flows from high-level designs to implementation. This position offers multiple openings and does not require travel.
Requirements
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in hardware verification, logic and circuit design, and ASIC design.
- Proficiency in Verilog, System Verilog, or VHDL.
- Familiarity with design flows and methodologies used for chip verification.
- Experience in Unix or Linux environments and programming languages such as C, C++, or Python.
- Knowledge of CPU, GPU, or SoC architecture.
Responsibilities
- Research, design, develop, and test electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing.
- Perform definition, design, verification, and documentation for ASIC development.
- Determine architecture design, logic design, and system simulation.
- Define module interfaces and formats for simulation.
- Contribute to the development of multidimensional designs involving complex integrated circuits.
- Evaluate all aspects of the process flow from high-level designs to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power use.
Benefits
