Job description

The MTS Silicon Design Engineer at Xilinx, Inc., a subsidiary of AMD, focuses on researching, designing, developing, and testing electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing. Requirements

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
  • Three years of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in the same fields with five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, develop, and test electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Oversee definition, design, verification, and documentation for ASIC development.
  • Collaborate with architecture and hardware teams to understand requirements.
  • Lead the development of multidimensional designs involving complex integrated circuits.
  • Evaluate all aspects of the process flow from high-level designs to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power use.
  • Participate in silicon bring-up for features owned.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop ASIC/layout design and resolve complex issues.
