AMD is seeking a Senior Silicon Design Engineer to focus on developing and maintaining tests for functional and performance verification at the core level. The role involves building testbench components for next-generation IP and improving current test libraries. Additionally, the engineer will create hardware emulation builds to verify IP functional performance and enhance the hardware emulation environment. This position offers the opportunity to provide technical support to various teams within AMD.

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in Logic and Circuit Design.
• Experience in CMOS Transistor Design.
• Experience in ASIC Design.
• Experience with Back-End (physical Design) EDA tools.
• Experience in Graphics IP Architecture verification.
• Proficiency in Java.
• Proficiency in C/C++.
• Proficiency in System Verilog/Verilog.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Proficiency in Linux.
• Familiarity with Git.

• Develop and maintain tests for functional verification and performance verification at the core level.

• Create hardware emulation builds to verify the IP functional performance.
• Maintain and improve the current hardware emulation environment to speed up runtime performance and enhance debugging facilities.
