AMD is seeking a Sr. Systems Design Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and testing of electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing. The role involves utilizing knowledge of electronic theory to create complex frameworks and systems. The engineer will also define processes for technical platforms and evaluate system designs to enhance future products. • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field.
• Experience in Python, GPU architecture, and Git.

• Research, design, develop, and test electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing.
• Define processes for technical platforms, system specifications, and hardware/software compatibility.
• Conceive system interfaces and business application prototypes.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve system design weaknesses.
• Provide multi-layered technical expertise for next generation initiatives.
• Evaluate all aspects of the process flow from high-level designs to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power use.
