AMD is seeking a Senior Silicon Design Engineer to contribute to the research, design, development, and testing of electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing. The role involves overseeing ASIC development, determining architecture design, and evaluating process flows. • Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field is required.
• One year of experience in the job offered or a closely related engineering role is required.
• Experience in hardware verification, logic and circuit design, and RTL design/coding is required.
• Proficiency in System Verilog, functional verification of microprocessors, and ASIC design is required.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments, C/C++, Ruby, UVM, CPU and GPU architecture, virtualization, multi-threading, and x86-64 architecture is required.

• Research, design, develop, and test electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing.
• Oversee the definition, design, verification, and documentation for ASIC development.
• Determine architecture design, logic design, and system simulation.
• Define module interfaces and formats for simulation.
• Contribute to the development of multidimensional designs involving complex integrated circuits.
• Evaluate all aspects of the process flow from high-level designs to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power use.
• Utilize knowledge of computers and electronics, including circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic equipment.
