AMD is seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer to contribute significantly to the success of its products. This role involves collaborating with various Product Development Groups and serving as a key technical contact for business, design, platform validation, and product engineering teams. The engineer will focus on developing test program infrastructure and solving complex problems to enhance product quality and efficiency. This position requires a proactive approach to identify and implement product improvement activities.

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• One year of experience in the job offered or a closely related engineering role.
• Experience with CAD tools.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Knowledge of Linux or Windows internals.
• Experience in Electrical Fault Isolation.
• Familiarity with Package Failure analysis.
• Experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
• Knowledge of Yield analysis.
• Experience in Test pattern development.
• Understanding of Device physics.

• Collaborate with design, validation, and architecture teams for content coverage and test pattern development.

• Identify and plan product improvement activities to reduce costs, improve yield, and resolve quality issues.
