AMD is seeking a Senior Silicon Design Engineer to contribute to the research, design, development, and testing of electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing. • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in performing hardware and software verification.
• Knowledge of CPU, GPU, or SoC architecture.
• Proficiency in Verilog, System Verilog, or VHDL.
• Familiarity with C, C++, or Python.
• Experience in logic and circuit design.
• Ability to work in Unix or Linux environments.
• Understanding of design flows and methodologies used for chip verification.
• Experience in functional verification of microprocessors.

• Develop firmware for products such as CPUs, GPUs, and APUs.
• Perform simulations of hardware computer architectures.
• Contribute to the determination of hardware/software compatibility.
• Utilize knowledge of computers and electronics, including circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic equipment.
