AMD is seeking a Senior Silicon Design Engineer to contribute to the research, design, development, and testing of electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing. The role involves utilizing knowledge of electronic theory and engineering principles to support ASIC development. The engineer will work on complex integrated circuit designs and evaluate the entire process flow from high-level designs to synthesis and timing. • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in logic and circuit design.
• Experience in CMOS transistor design.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
• Knowledge of CPU and GPU architecture.
• Experience in GPU programming.

• Research, design, develop, and test electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing.
• Perform definition, design, verification, and documentation for ASIC development.
• Determine architecture design, logic design, and system simulation.
• Define module interfaces and formats for simulation.
• Contribute to the development of multidimensional designs involving complex integrated circuits.
• Evaluate all aspects of the process flow from high-level designs to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power use.
• Work on problems of moderate scope requiring analysis of various factors.
• Utilize knowledge of computers and electronics, including circuit boards, processors, and chips.
