The Sr. Silicon Design Engineer at AMD's subsidiary Xilinx, Inc. is responsible for researching, designing, developing, and testing electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing. This role focuses on ASIC and SOC development, utilizing knowledge of electronic theory and verification methodologies. The engineer will work with complex protocols and collaborate with design teams to ensure code and functional coverage. The position requires a strong understanding of hardware verification and design techniques.

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in hardware verification and logic and circuit design.
• Proficiency in Verilog, VHDL, and System Verilog.
• Familiarity with ASIC design tools and front-end EDA tools.
• Experience in Unix/Linux environments.

• Research, design, develop, and test electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing.
• Perform definition, design, verification, and documentation for ASIC and SOC development.
• Architect verification environments for IP and SOC level test benches using UVM verification methodology.
• Collaborate with design teams on code coverage and functional coverage closure.
• Utilize Python scripts for productivity enhancements.
