Job description

The Sr. Software Development Engineer at Xilinx, Inc., a subsidiary of AMD, is responsible for researching, designing, developing, and testing operating systems-level software and compilers for semiconductor operations. This role focuses on enhancing software programs and defining software requirements and architectures. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address significant technical challenges and drive projects of importance. The position requires a strong understanding of computer science principles and the practical application of engineering technologies.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • One year of experience in the job offered or a closely related engineering role is required.
  • Experience with LLVM Compiler Technologies is required.
  • Knowledge of graphics standards such as DX, OGL, and OCL is required.
  • Familiarity with GPU architecture and GPU programming is required.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented design, memory management, and multi-threading is required.
  • Understanding of data structures is required.
  • Experience with Git and programming in C or C++ is required.

Responsibilities
