AMD is seeking a Senior Silicon Design Engineer to contribute to the research, design, development, and testing of electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing. This role involves utilizing knowledge of electronic theory and engineering principles to support ASIC development and complex integrated circuit layouts. The engineer will work on various aspects of the design process, including architecture, logic design, and system simulation. • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• One year of experience in the job offered or a closely related engineering role.
• Experience with hardware verification and CAD tools.
• Proficiency in Verilog, System Verilog, and VHDL.
• Knowledge of Python, C, C++, and Shell scripting.
• Familiarity with EDA tools and design flows used for chip verification.

• Research, design, develop, and test electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing.
• Perform definition, design, verification, and documentation for ASIC development.
• Determine architecture design, logic design, and system simulation.
• Define module interfaces and formats for simulation.
• Contribute to the development of multidimensional designs involving complex integrated circuits.
• Evaluate all aspects of the process flow from high-level designs to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power use.
• Work on problems of moderate scope requiring analysis of various factors.
• Exercise judgment within defined company procedures to select methods and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
