The Silicon Design Engineer position at Xilinx, Inc., a subsidiary of AMD, focuses on researching, designing, developing, and testing electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing. • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in logic and circuit design.
• Knowledge of CMOS transistor design.
• Familiarity with SOC or system architecture.
• Proficiency in RTL design and coding.
• Experience with Verilog or VHDL.
• Understanding of functional verification of microprocessors.
• Knowledge of ASIC design tools including synthesis, simulation, equivalence checking, and static timing analysis.
• Experience with back-end (physical design) EDA tools.
• Familiarity with Unix or Linux environments.
• Knowledge of physical design (PD) process.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
• Understanding of machine learning.
