AMD is seeking a Sr. Silicon Design Engineer to contribute to the research, design, development, and testing of electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing. The role involves overseeing ASIC development, determining architecture design, and evaluating process flows. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address significant technical challenges and drive projects of importance. This position requires a strong foundation in electronic theory and engineering principles.

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in logic and circuit design.
• Experience in SoC or system architecture.
• Experience with CUDA.
• Experience in GPU architecture.
• Experience in memory management.

• Research, design, develop, and test electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing.
• Oversee the definition, design, verification, and documentation for ASIC development.
• Determine architecture design, logic design, and system simulation.
• Define module interfaces and formats for simulation.
• Contribute to the development of multidimensional designs involving complex integrated circuits.
• Evaluate all aspects of the process flow from high-level designs to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power use.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop ASIC/layout design.
• Drive projects or processes of significant technical importance.
• Exercise independent judgment to select methods and techniques for obtaining results.
