AMD is seeking a Senior Silicon Design Engineer to join their team focused on enhancing next-generation products through data analysis and feature development. • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
• Two years of experience in the job offered or a related engineering role
• Experience in Unix/Linux environments
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python
• Knowledge of Object Oriented design and Software debugging in macOS or Linux/Unix
• Familiarity with Git and Data Structures

• Identify performance problems using data from the AM tool
• Gather requirements, design, and implement new features within the model
• Develop knowledge of the entire graphics and compute pipeline for off-the-shelf products
• Enhance usability of AM tools through improvements in wall-clock runtime, memory consumption, and code quality
• Drive the SW shift-left initiative to facilitate architecture analysis and IP verification earlier in the development cycle
