Xilinx, Inc., a subsidiary of AMD, is seeking an MTS Silicon Design Engineer to focus on the research, design, development, and testing of electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing. The role involves overseeing ASIC development, determining architecture and logic design, and leading the layout of complex integrated circuits. The engineer will work with cross-functional teams to address complex issues and drive significant technical projects. This position requires a strong background in electronic theory and engineering principles.

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Three years of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.
• Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.
• Experience with UVM, OVM, VMM and/or System Verilog, Verilog test benches, and simulation tools.

• Research, design, develop, and test electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing.
• Oversee definition, design, verification, and documentation for ASIC development.
• Determine architecture design, logic design, and system simulation.
• Lead the development of multidimensional designs involving complex integrated circuits.
• Evaluate all aspects of the process flow from high-level designs to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power use.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop ASIC/layout design and address complex issues.
• Drive projects or processes of significant technical importance.
