Arcadis is seeking a Senior Roadway Design Engineer to join the Southeast Mobility team in Atlanta, GA. This role focuses on infrastructure projects for roadways, including various types of streets and expressways. The position involves addressing complex highway design challenges for GDOT and other state agencies. The candidate will also be responsible for mentoring junior staff and ensuring project compliance with quality and safety standards.

• 10 or more years of relevant engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Georgia PE license, or the ability to obtain one within 6 months.
• Task management experience within infrastructure design and construction engineering.
• Proficiency with MicroStation, OpenRoads, Geopak, InRoads and 3D Design.
• Proficiency with GDOT design standards and policies.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Serve as a professional engineering discipline lead for roadway design projects.
• Mentor and provide direction to junior staff and design/drafters.
• Develop project plans and schedules while managing production.
• Ensure project compliance with all Arcadis practices including quality and safety standards.
• Interact with client technical staff and manage client expectations.
• Perform various roles on multi-disciplined projects including QA/QC reviewer and technical advisor.
• Prepare written reports, calculations and other design documentation.
