Job description

The Staff Systems Quality Test Engineer at Qualcomm Atheros, Inc. leads the validation of new Wi-Fi features across functional, performance, and stability dimensions in system-level test environments. This role involves executing interoperability functional and performance testing using various client devices to evaluate compatibility and reliability. The engineer creates test plans, develops automated test cases, and performs detailed log and packet analysis to identify defects. Additionally, the engineer provides data-driven recommendations to enhance system performance and participates actively in design reviews and project meetings.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related degree field
  • Experience in testing and modifying systems-level software and hardware
  • Strong understanding of wireless specifications and systems testing
