The Instrumentation and Controls Engineer will work in a hybrid setup from locations including Conshohocken, PA, Cincinnati, OH, Cary, NC, or Indianapolis, IN. This role focuses on delivering high-quality engineering solutions for industrial and commercial facilities, particularly in the life sciences sector. The engineer will collaborate with a multi-discipline team to design electrical circuits and control systems, while also mentoring junior professionals. The position emphasizes technical excellence and client satisfaction in project execution.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or chemical engineering from an accredited university or college.
• 7+ years of experience as an instrumentation and control design engineer for industrial private-sector clients.
• Experience in design, testing, and startup of industrial process automation systems.
• Knowledge of Piping & Instrument Diagram Development (P&ID) including ANSI/ISA S5.1 symbology.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Accountable for schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks.
• Provide on-site assistance during startup and coordinate work activities with other staff members.
• Produce designs for electrical circuits and panels utilizing control applications.
• Develop options and optimizations for process control, instrumentation, and automation.
• Mentor other professionals and help them discover their purpose.
