The Mechanical Engineering Intern position focuses on HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection Systems within the Life Sciences team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is designed for students who wish to apply their theoretical knowledge to real-world engineering challenges. Interns will work under the guidance of Professional Engineers and contribute to innovative solutions for clients. The position is set to begin in May 2027 and offers a hybrid work environment.

• Current enrollment in a degree seeking program of Mechanical, Architectural or Fire Protection Engineering or closely related discipline
• Desire to design building mechanical systems, including HVAC and piping
• A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred
• Proficiency in Revit and 3D CADD is advantageous
• Candidates requiring sponsorship are not eligible for this role

• Provide system design calculations and related design services under the guidance of Professional Engineers
• Assist in the design of heating and cooling systems, domestic water and waste systems, and sprinkler systems
• Coordinate designs with other trades, including architectural and engineering disciplines
• Ensure the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of assigned work
• Progress from basic design work assignments to more complex projects
