Job description
Goldman Sachs is seeking ambitious trading platform developers to join their Electronic Trading team, focusing on US Listed Options Trading. The role involves engaging in the entire product life cycle, from requirement gathering to deployment. Engineers will work with modern technologies such as Java and C++ to build high-performance trading platforms. Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree in relevant technical fields such as Computer Science or Electronic Engineering.
- Proficiency in either Java or C++.
- Experience with Linux operating system.
- 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with developing order management systems, exchange connectivity, or market data feeds for US Equities or Options markets.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance Options trading platforms including market data and exchange connectivity for clients.
- Utilize a good understanding of US Options market structure, regulations, and exchange service offerings.
- Communicate with traders, sales, clients, and compliance officers about new feature requests and existing features.
