Job description

The Vice President of Risk Governance at Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Dallas, Texas, is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and monitoring risk areas related to business processes and controls. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, Mathematics or related field and three years of experience in risk governance or a related role, or a Bachelor's degree in the same fields and five years of experience.
  • Experience performing statistically driven analysis using data analytical techniques.
  • Experience creating and enhancing financial models.
  • Knowledge of regulatory capital regimes, including Basel and CCAR framework.
  • Experience running scenario analyses and preparing summary presentations for management.
  • Proficiency in visualizing complex data analyses using tools like Tableau.
  • Experience leveraging analytics and automation to enhance testing and sampling strategies.
  • Experience developing processes and tools to monitor data accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, analyze, and monitor areas of risk related to business processes and controls.
  • Determine and agree on firm/business quality procedures and standards.
  • Assess business requirements and ensure they are met.
  • Establish effective supervisory structures and governance forums.
  • Attend regular risk meetings to review exceptions across business units.
  • Identify risks within the operational risk profile of the segment.
  • Share risk best practices across teams and functions.
  • Assess Inherent Risks and Residual Risks to ensure accurate risk and control reviews.
  • Define thematic RCSA issues to structure remediation plans for significant risks.
  • Socialize lessons learned to improve the risk and control framework.
