Job description

The Associate, Risk Governance role at Goldman Sachs focuses on assessing risks associated with various Engineering processes. The position involves working closely with Engineering teams to create a prioritized list of risks and a targeted book-of-work. The role supports the Digital Risk Office's roadmap to enhance compliance and the DRO framework. Engagement with both Core Engineering and divisional risk leads is essential to ensure timely risk remediation and adoption of solutions.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Information Security Policy and Management, or related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Information Security Policy and Management, or related field and two years of experience in the job offered or a related role.
  • Experience with risk management methodologies and frameworks.
  • Experience assessing Engineering processes including IAM, SDLC, Cyber Response, and Resilience.
  • Experience with technologies including cloud, mobile, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Assess risk for various Engineering processes to identify a rationalized and prioritized list of risks.
  • Create a targeted book-of-work for Engineering teams in the Firm.
  • Support the Digital Risk Office roadmap to achieve ongoing compliance with the DRO framework.
  • Participate in risk discovery and assessment exercises.
  • Engage with Core Engineering leads to ensure timely risk remediation.
  • Engage with divisional risk leads to ensure timely adoption of Core Engineering’s platform and process solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the DRO framework and related processes.
