Job description

The Analyst role in the Government and Public Sector Assurance - Tech Risk team at EY focuses on delivering quality client services related to financial statement audits and IT control projects. As part of a diverse team, you will work with U.S. federal agencies to improve performance and program effectiveness. This position emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and the application of technical knowledge in risk management and information security. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology or a closely related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in information assurance, information security, risk management, IT and application controls.
  • Experience preparing written or verbal materials and assisting with presenting project results to clients.
  • Must be able to obtain federal security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key resource in delivering quality client services on financial statement audits and IT control projects.
  • Conduct research as needed and assist in the testing of IT general and application controls.
  • Prepare for and potentially lead client meetings, establishing relationships with client personnel.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge in IT general and application controls, risk management, and information security.
  • Collaborate among team members to promote an inclusive working environment.
