• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a master's degree preferred.
• Over 10 years of hands-on application security experience in large-scale, distributed systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of security fundamentals as applied to modern web applications and cloud-native platforms.
• Experience in programming languages such as Go, Python, or Java.
• Proven ability to lead technical investigations and respond to application security incidents.

• Partner closely with engineering, product, and platform teams to identify and mitigate security risks early.
• Define and standardize threat modeling frameworks and lead security design reviews for complex systems.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for product security implementation reviews and oversee security code reviews.
• Architect and drive the roadmap for security automation and build scalable security tooling.
• Proactively identify new vulnerability classes and lead research initiatives to stay ahead of evolving threats.
