Meta is looking for a Systems Engineer to support AI/ML initiatives focused on large-scale AI training and inference. The role involves working with the Production Systems Engineering team, which manages the hardware lifecycle of Meta servers. The engineer will collaborate with various cross-functional teams to ensure the integration and deployment of new systems in production data centers. A strong understanding of network technologies and hands-on experience with hardware/software lifecycle phases is essential for success in this position.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of work experience in domains such as Network ASIC/Platform Development, Network Product Deployment, and Customer Support.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and experience using tools like iperf/uperf.
• Knowledge of server architecture and components.
• Experience working with Linux.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and debug experience.

• Lead integration of scale up and scale out interfaces for AI Platforms.
• Develop understanding of Collective Communication patterns and AI workloads for new product introduction.
• Proactively create experiments and tooling to detect, reproduce, and diagnose hardware/firmware/software issues.
• Contribute to enabling hacks for future technology explorations in the AI space.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and root-cause system failures while collaborating with internal and external partners.
• Develop visibility through data visualization and implement systemic solutions to hardware health issues.
• Leverage production experience to drive continuous improvement in product quality.
