This position is part of Tesla's Drive Systems Test Engineering group, focusing on drive unit level testing for new product validation and reliability. The role involves supporting Engineering Technicians and Test Engineers in a fast-paced environment to meet testing deadlines. Responsibilities include managing lab organization, inventory, and logistics within test facilities across the Bay Area. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining a safe and organized lab space.

• Strong communication skills are required for establishing effective working relationships.
• Basic computer/software use experience is necessary, including Excel, web browsers, Word, email, and calendars.
• Strong organizational skills, time management, and multitasking abilities are essential.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team is necessary.
• The candidate must be able to assist in lab organization in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs. throughout the day is required.
• Proficiency in operating hand and power tools is necessary.

• Operate the forklift, pallet jack, and other resources to lift and move materials, parts, and vehicles in and out of labs and chambers.
• Coordinate with Tesla support teams, including janitorial, EHS, security, and lab operations teams.
• Create purchase requests and onboard vendors.
• Manage lab organization and inventory of samples.
• Oversee test system preventative maintenance and logistics.
