Tesla is seeking a full-stack Software Engineer to enhance the development of data factory and software services for battery products. This role focuses on delivering data and software solutions to address high-volume manufacturing challenges. Working in a fast-paced environment, the engineer will collaborate with a motivated team on innovative projects that directly impact electric vehicle manufacturing. • Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• Proficiency with programming languages such as Python, Golang, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
• Experience building modern web applications using React/Redux or similar component-based libraries
• Experience with containerization, configuration, and deployment toolsets like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience working with relational or columnar databases such as Redshift or ClickHouse
• Experience working with high-volume manufacturing systems is a strong plus

• Programmatically automate software builds, testing, and deployments to achieve faster and more reliable production releases
• Benchmark data systems’ performance and identify ways to improve data efficiency, integrity, and scalability
• Develop and operate robust data ingest services, APIs, and databases enabling scalable manufacturing analytics
• Design and build web applications to empower data-driven manufacturing
• Collaborate with controls automation and manufacturing execution system experts to ensure seamless integration of software products into manufacturing systems
• Strive for best software engineering practices through documentation and code reviews
