As a Data Engineer on the Infrastructure DesignX team, you will be instrumental in building and scaling the data foundation for the Machine Learning Platform. Your focus will be on creating robust data pipelines and models that handle large-scale datasets, ensuring data quality and accuracy. This role involves collaborating with engineers to optimize infrastructure planning and construction across the nation. You will also be responsible for delivering actionable insights through interactive dashboards and tools.

• Degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 3+ years of professional experience as a data engineer or backend engineer.
• Expert in Python and SQL for building performant queries and data models.
• Experience across the full data lifecycle including sourcing, ingestion, transformation, analytics, and visualization.
• Hands-on experience with data processing and orchestration frameworks in production at scale.
• Production experience with real-time or distributed streaming systems.
• Proven experience building and deploying time-series forecasting models.
• Hands-on experience with mathematical optimization problems.
• Experience integrating and reconciling data across multiple source systems.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines that unify data from disparate sources.
• Develop and operate high-volume, real-time and batch data platforms for time-series data.
• Architect robust databases and storage for infrastructure and energy data.
• Build, train, and deploy time-series forecasting and optimization models.
• Design and build backend APIs that serve structured data and model outputs.
• Deliver interactive dashboards and tooling for actionable insights.
• Scale data collection and pipelines across multiple sites and regions.
• Partner with software and ML engineers to translate operational requirements into data architecture.
