The Electronic Design Engineering - Radio Frequency Internship at Tesla focuses on enhancing connectivity features in vehicles through various engineering teams. Interns will work on projects related to antenna design, audio system integration, electromagnetic compatibility, and wireless hardware development. This role is ideal for students pursuing degrees in relevant engineering fields and offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. Interns will collaborate closely with managers and mentors to contribute to critical projects that support Tesla's mission.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Electromagnetics, Radio Frequency Engineering, Antenna Design, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical or a related field.
• Strong skills in Python/numpy, MATLAB, C/C++ or equivalent tools for modeling and analysis.
• Experience with radio frequency, analog, and digital circuit design.
• Experience with PCB design and component selection.
• Experience using test and measurement equipment for radio frequency such as spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes.
• Familiarity with an EM 3D design tool is a plus.
• Basic understanding of acoustics and best practices of acoustic measurement.
• Understanding of digital signal processing principles such as digital audio format filtering.
• Data analysis, report writing, and presentation skills.

• Apply first-principles for the design, integration test, and production of antenna solutions.
• Contribute to audio system integration and quality improvement for automotive audio features.
• Assist in product design, simulation, debugging, and testing for electromagnetic compatibility.
• Engage in ongoing Radio Turner product development activities.
• Develop and test audio systems for Tesla vehicles and robots.
• Design, develop, and test hardware systems for wireless communication technologies.
