The Data Engineer ETL Developer is an intermediate-level position focused on designing, developing, and implementing scalable data integration solutions within the Oracle Ledger program. This role is integral to the Technology team, emphasizing the creation and maintenance of critical data pipelines using the Ab Initio platform. The successful candidate will contribute to high-quality data systems analysis and programming activities that align with strategic financial data objectives. The position requires collaboration with various teams to enhance data quality and governance.

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Applications Development, Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Management, Metadata Management, or Systems Analysis.
• Proven, in-depth expertise with the Ab Initio platform (GDE, Co>Operating System, EME) is mandatory.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, Teradata).
• Solid experience with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and implementing successful data-centric projects, preferably within the financial services industry.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, resilient, and scalable ETL processes using the Ab Initio suite of products.
• Partner with business, data governance, risk, and technology teams to implement and enhance enterprise Data Quality and Data Governance solutions.
• Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of Data Quality controls and remediation activities across critical data assets.
• Translate business requirements from the Oracle Ledger program into technical specifications for ETL jobs and data models.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading across various database platforms.
