• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience with design patterns, reliability, and scaling
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

• Support the development and management of AWS services including Compute, Database, and Storage.
• Work on the EC2 Nitro platform to enhance security and performance for high memory and HPC workloads.
• Interface directly with system BIOS for bare-metal instances and drive critical system interactions within the Nitro Hypervisor.
• Develop features and new instance types for customers using C/C++ or Rust, with supporting scripts in Python and Lua.
• Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and mentor junior engineers.
