As a Senior ICT Design Engineer at AWS, you will lead the design strategy and quality for ICT systems across multiple data center builds. • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission-critical facilities
• 5+ years of ICT design experience in Mission Critical Environments
• 5+ years of experience developing and leading the production of design documentation
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with fiber optic components and applicable standards
• Demonstrated experience driving engineering standards and design best practices
• Experience leading cross-discipline design coordination in large-scale infrastructure programs
• BICSI RCDD Certification or internationally recognized equivalent
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Professional Engineering or Architectural License
• Experience with building codes and permitting processes across multiple jurisdictions
• Demonstrated ability to carry design concepts from exploration to deployment
• Experience reading and producing construction drawings and specifications
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite
• Experience engaging with industry standards bodies
• Familiarity with physical security system integration requirements
• Experience supporting or leading RFP processes and vendor evaluations

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable ICT systems across multiple builds.
• Own the ICT architecture for complex, large-scale data center programs.
• Drive the development and continuous improvement of ICT design standards.
• Identify and resolve complex cross-discipline coordination challenges.
• Define and enforce ICT engineering best practices and quality benchmarks.
• Lead design milestone reviews for ICT systems and provide technical feedback.
• Review and approve ICT pathway and cabling submittals for compliance.
• Drive root-cause analysis for design deficiencies and lead initiatives to resolve them.
• Serve as the primary ICT technical point of contact for complex projects.
• Collaborate with various disciplines to ensure fully coordinated designs.
