Apple is seeking a circuit design engineer to innovate and launch advanced technologies for mobile, laptop, and desktop displays. The display panel design team focuses on delivering high-performance panel circuits and designs. The role involves taking ownership of display panels from concept to mass production while collaborating with various teams across the company. Key areas of work include circuit layout, simulation, and the integration of AI-assisted design tools.

• BS degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience
• Strong command of Electrical Engineering circuit design fundamentals, both analog and digital
• Experience with Cadence/Virtuoso modeling and simulation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Technical knowledge of displays or related electronics
• Experience in display pixel and gate driver designs
• Understanding of Thin-Film Transistors (TFTs) and display panel processes
• Experience in characterizing electrical performance of circuits
• Experience in integrating AI and AI agents in circuit design and analysis workflows

• Scope and define display panel architecture
• Design, layout, and extract parasitic parameters for display pixels and panels
• Model, characterize, and validate display pixels and panels
• Conduct failure mode analysis and root cause investigations for mass-production display development
• Integrate new transistor technologies into display panel circuits
• Contribute to the development of custom AI-assisted tools for circuit and layout analysis
• Collaborate with EE/Silicon teams to define signal interfaces and new compensation blocks for display panels
• Work with Touch teams to design touch sensors and analyze touch-display coexistence
• Collaborate with Sensing teams for sensor integration behind display panels
• Partner with Mechanical Engineering/Product Design teams on panel peripheral circuit and border design
• Engage with external vendors for display manufacturing
• Travel internationally to support project implementation
