Job description
Apple is seeking Panel Process & Device Engineers to advance display technology across its products. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams and panel suppliers to develop state-of-the-art displays. Engineers will implement new materials and processes for high-performance display panels, conducting tests and validations. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Background in TFT or MOSFET device physics.
- Experience in TFT/MOSFET process and its fabrication operation or R&D activities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with flat panel displays.
- Background with Metal Oxide and LTPS device physics and modeling using TCAD or SPICE.
- Self-motivated and willing to take on challenges.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically or internationally.
Responsibilities
- Implement new materials and advanced process development for high-performance display panels.
- Oversee and co-develop equipment used in Thin Film, Photo Lithography, or Etching processes.
- Work closely with Apple HQ cross-functional teams and industrial partners to develop panels and TFT devices.
- Lead the optimization of the TFT and panel manufacturing process for future products.
- Explore new materials and technologies to enable next-generation Apple products.
- Conduct numerical modeling, mechanical simulation, and device simulation for product design and optimization.
