Job description

The Program Manager for Product Localization Management (PLM) will be part of the Product Launch Readiness team within Americas Operations. This role focuses on driving the localization strategy for Apple products in Latin America, ensuring compliance with regional regulations while collaborating with global teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills and a background in Product Lifecycle Management systems. The position requires effective communication and problem-solving abilities to navigate a dynamic and ambiguous environment.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in a relevant field such as Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems.
  • 6+ years of experience in program or project management.
  • Solid working knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, BOM Configuration, and Product Localization.
  • Consistent record of leading global, strategic projects with strong tactical execution skills.
  • Proven experience working in a matrixed and global organization.
  • Demonstrated ability in business process re-engineering with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Drive AMR Product Localization and SKU Optimization strategy in collaboration with global teams.
  • Develop and support PLM processes to ensure compliance with country-specific regulations.
  • Manage BOMs related to NPI Localization and customization requests.
  • Enable Regulatory Change Management throughout the lifecycle of Apple products.
  • Support Product Launch Readiness team on go-to-market strategy planning and execution.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and drive solutions from conception through implementation.
  • Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to drive best practices globally.
  • Own new product/systems/tool launch plans and provide updates on critical checkpoints.
  • Develop analytical models to evaluate complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
  • Drive long-term strategic initiatives that support Apple's Sustainability goals.
