Job description
The Customer Service Platform team at Netflix is seeking seasoned full stack engineers to enhance the consumer-facing help center experience. This role involves building robust features that cater to millions of visitors annually while collaborating with various engineering teams and stakeholders. The focus is on creating a modern technology ecosystem that integrates vendor solutions and supports operational efficiency. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in both frontend and backend development, with an emphasis on innovative solutions and Generative AI applications.
Requirements
- Solid experience with TypeScript or JavaScript
- Solid experience with modern UI frameworks such as React
- Experience with AB test experiments and events instrumentation
- Experience with API technologies such as GraphQL, gRPC, and REST
- Experience with cloud computing platforms like Amazon Web Services
- Solid knowledge of data structures, DB schema design, and modern design patterns
Responsibilities
- Ideate, build, test, and deploy robust features that meet technical and business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with Netflix engineering teams, product stakeholders, and external vendors.
- Maintain a platform mindset to handle massive end-user traffic and integrate vendor solutions.
- Participate in an on-call rotation supporting production services.
Benefits
- Employees at Netflix are often offered flexible, people-first benefits—unlimited time away, generous parental leave, global family-forming support, mental-health programs (mindfulness, free counseling/coaching), and health coverage tailored by country. Financially, Netflix pays at personal top-of-market and lets employees choose their mix of cash vs. fully-vested 10-year stock options, alongside donation and volunteer matching. Convenience perks can include trust-based travel/expense policies, relocation support, and “Work, Not Drive” rideshare flexibility.
