Job description

The Senior Business Systems Analyst for Financial Planning Engineering at Google plays a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of internal processes. This position involves collaborating with business teams to develop delivery roadmaps and system requirements for financial planning processes. The analyst will leverage their technical expertise to build business applications and influence system design. The role requires a deep understanding of financial systems and the ability to manage complex projects across multiple locations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience building integrated systems throughout the entire lifecycle.
  • 12 years of experience designing and implementing financial systems.
  • Experience working with systems that manage sensitive data and with SOX controls.
  • FP&A domain knowledge and experience implementing planning tools.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal business teams and stakeholders in developing delivery roadmaps and associated system requirements for FP&A planning processes.
  • Plan, prioritize, deliver, and support systems solutions related to Anaplan or other FP&A planning and forecasting tools.
  • Execute on system implementation projects which involves requirements documentation, systems design, model building/configuration, testing, issue identification and bug resolution.
  • Identify constraints and dependencies for technical solutions and effectively manage and communicate to the stakeholders.
  • Perform data analysis and reconciliations, identifying opportunities for process and technical improvement.
