Job description
The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will lead the Manufacturing team in Plainfield, IN, focusing on enhancing operational performance and driving results in a high-volume production environment. This role involves building effective teams, collaborating across functions, and cultivating innovation to support long-term organizational success. The manager will also prioritize health and safety while navigating complex information and aligning work with organizational goals. A strong emphasis will be placed on developing talent and maintaining execution discipline.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of plant manufacturing experience with demonstrated leadership in a high-volume or complex production environment.
- Site Manufacturing Engineering leadership experience providing daily technical direction across various operations.
- Proven ability to lead end-to-end capital projects including scope development and execution oversight.
- Strong cross-functional engineering support capability for major initiatives.
- Expertise in HSE-focused engineering including machine safety and ergonomics.
- Technical leadership in automation and advanced manufacturing.
- Experience building and developing high-performing engineering teams.
- Strong execution discipline with structured project reviews and performance reporting.
- College, university, or degree in STEM or related field, or equivalent experience required.
