The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in smart-contract engineering and multi-chain architecture to meet complex market and regulatory requirements. This position is ideal for an expert-level engineer with a strong background in institutional tokenization and distributed systems engineering.
Requirements
- Significant hands-on experience designing and delivering production tokenization systems and smart contracts within a regulated enterprise environment.
- Strong expertise in EVM and Solidity smart-contract engineering, including token standards, security controls, and automated testing.
- Strong expertise in Canton and Daml smart-contract engineering, including complex templates and privacy design.
- Demonstrable experience with multi-chain and interoperability architecture, including cross-chain messaging and asset-transfer architectures.
- Strong capital-markets and tokenization domain expertise across relevant asset classes such as securitized products and tokenized deposits.
- Strong event-driven, API-first, enterprise architecture experience using Java and/or TypeScript.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement production-grade smart contracts and tokenization services across blockchain environments.
- Design and deliver multi-chain tokenization workflows for various use cases, incorporating on-ledger contracts and workflow orchestration.
- Model and implement end-to-end asset lifecycles, including issuance, distribution, and reporting.
- Design secure, privacy-aware distributed-ledger solutions, including identity and key management.
- Establish and promote engineering standards for multi-chain smart-contract design and secure software delivery.
- Evaluate blockchain protocols and interoperability frameworks for their suitability in institutional tokenization products.
Benefits
- Employees at Goldman Sachs are often offered comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, life and disability coverage, generous vacation and holidays, and robust wellness resources such as EAP counseling, medical advocacy, on-site/virtual health services, and fitness support. Financial perks typically include retirement savings programs, live financial education, education support, and wealth-creation opportunities through equity awards and select investment programs. Many locations also provide family benefits (childcare resources, parental and family leaves, adoption/surrogacy support) and flexible work options like part-time schedules, job sharing, telecommuting, and alternate hours.
