Job description

The Expert Consultant role at Boston Consulting Group focuses on partnering with CFOs to address their most pressing financial challenges. This position is part of the CFO Excellence team, which aims to modernize finance functions and enhance organizational efficiency through advanced analytics and AI. The role requires deep expertise in finance transformation and offers the opportunity to work closely with clients to develop strategies for change. As an Expert Consultant, you will have end-to-end responsibility for specific workstreams within projects, contributing to BCG's thought leadership and delivery model.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in finance across various topics such as finance function effectiveness and CFO advisory.
  • Previous consulting experience is required.
  • Proven experience working on finance transformation programs including operating model redesign and process re-engineering.
  • Experience in finance technology stacks and process optimization.
  • Strong consulting skill set with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
