Job description
The Global Cybersecurity Senior Manager for Attack Surface Management at Boston Consulting Group will lead the enterprise Attack Surface Management service, focusing on transforming technical security findings into prioritized risk decisions. This role involves collaboration across various security domains, including infrastructure, cloud, network, and identity security. The manager will serve as a subject matter expert within Information Security Risk Management, driving consistent risk prioritization and improving operational processes. The position aims to enhance BCG's cybersecurity posture through effective remediation and executive-level reporting.
Requirements
- 8+ years in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years focused on attack surface management, vulnerability management, or exposure management.
- Strong understanding of vulnerability lifecycle and risk-based prioritization.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Tenable, Wiz, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
- Proven experience leading security teams and driving cross-functional remediation programs.
Responsibilities
- Review misconfigurations and vulnerabilities surfaced across scanning platforms.
- Leverage AI-powered vulnerability assessment tools to continuously scan and surface high-priority findings.
- Determine the business impact of open findings and map them to real attack paths.
- Recommend specific actions for patch prioritization and misconfiguration remediation.
- Develop playbooks for critical vulnerability triage and escalation.
