Job description

The Financial Analyst role within the Commercial Finance Team focuses on providing finance decision support in a regional setting. The position involves significant responsibility and interaction with senior customers, requiring proactive contributions to enhance the firm's financial performance. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. This role emphasizes collaboration and accuracy in financial processes and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • A minimum of 2 years of finance-related experience
  • Proactive, self-starter with a high level of initiative and resourcefulness
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with AI Tools, Power BI, and Tableau is a plus
  • Experience in a professional services environment is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate case economics, including project budgeting, forecasting, accounting, variance analysis, days sales outstanding, and price realization.
  • Provide financial analysis on project, client, and practice area levels.
  • Assist in measuring results and ensure invoice and revenue recognition processes are followed.
  • Prepare financial reports and analysis to support business objectives and provide leverage to internal customers.
  • Collaborate positively with a transaction support team in Costa Rica to ensure accuracy across invoicing and contract compliance.
  • Participate in ad hoc reporting requests and support regional and global initiatives as needed.
  • Ensure adoption of finance policies and highlight potential risks.
  • Back up other finance functions and team members as required.
