The Mechanical Field Engineer will work on-site at the Baton Rouge Data Center, collaborating closely with client owners and team members in a dynamic environment. This role focuses on the design, development, and evaluation of mechanical systems, including HVAC and plumbing. The engineer will oversee engineering and construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
• At least 3 years of practical application of mechanical facilities design engineering, including HVAC and plumbing
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Solid knowledge of building codes and related standards
• Proficient working knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD and Revit

• Review vendor submittal packages against client requirements and specifications
• Perform field inspections and audits to verify compliance with contract documents and safety regulations
• Track and document non-conformance reports and oversee corrective actions
• Collaborate with contractors and project teams to enforce quality standards
• Support pre-installation meetings and final inspections to ensure project milestones are met
