As a Qualcomm Customer Quality Engineer, you will establish strong relationships with data center customers and lead all quality communications. Your role will involve driving resolutions for reported problems and acting as the voice of the customer within internal teams. You will work independently while providing guidance to other team members, influencing key organizational decisions. This position focuses on enhancing customer satisfaction through effective problem-solving and continuous improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
• 8+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience is preferred.
• 4+ years of technical and business customer communications experience is preferred.

• Lead conference calls and face-to-face meetings with customers related to quality.
• Track customer quality metrics and provide regular reports to customers and internal management.
• Coordinate and participate in customer audits.
• Understand critical elements of issues and provide direction to the working team.
• Assess results from various technical activities and formulate responses to customers.
• Interface with customers, integrators, and partners onsite to support problem solving and issue resolution.
• Craft customer presentations covering containment, root cause, risk assessments, corrective actions, preventative actions, and recovery plans for complaints.
• Work cross-functionally among internal organizations to assess product risk and drive problem solving.
