The role is focused on defining the future of software and application development within the Agentic Core Services Team at Microsoft. This team is responsible for building a cloud-native platform for agentic applications, enabling developers to create intelligent AI agents. The position involves collaborating with experts in generative AI and integrating multi-modal capabilities into real-world applications. The ideal candidate will shape product vision and ensure seamless integration across various teams.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.

• Define and influence the product roadmap by aligning technical strategy with business goals and customer needs.
• Leverage data-driven insights and competitive intelligence to inform product direction and guide decision-making.
• Design and evolve durable, scalable system architectures that balance long-term maintainability with short-term delivery needs.
• Work with engineering teams and partner organizations to drive clarity and alignment of technical direction.
• Collaborate closely with partner teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of features across the stack.
• Contribute to and lead the development of core platform components and reusable building blocks.
• Engage directly with customers to capture feedback and refine product messaging.
• Drive operational excellence in managing large-scale distributed systems and lead root cause analyses for key incidents.
